CD recorded as a collaboration between two Polish experimental projects: XV Parówek and Thaw. Long, even tracks somewhere between noise, ambient and glitch. Recorded with use of just a few sound sources. Released in November 2002.

A split, or a collaboration (it's hard to figure out but never mind), of Thaw with Bartek Kalinka aka XV Parowek, makes me consign the above mentioned failure to oblivion. Fifty minutes of extremely absorbing and well-made manipulations with electroacoustic and concrete material that fit the 'noise' or 'bruitism' definition but they veer to a harsher kind of ambient too. The sewers piping gurgles, acute incisions made by a short-sighted surgeon, sonic postcards sent from under the water, tornadoes of noise these are just some of the sound associations offered by this outing, which is a real gem. Go and get it because it's really worth it. Also, a sister release is put out on Bartek's own label.
